On this post I will be brutal with you and sincere enough to help you proffer solutions on what to do next and how to gain admission even if JAMB and admission screening did not favor you this year. I urge you to take every single advice you get from me seriously and do exactly as you are instructed to do. If after reading this post you refuse to carry out the simple instruction given herein then you are the unserious type who chose to remain at home while your mates are graduating from school. In fact it shows you are not ready to further your studies and you know what happens to people like you? They end up as losers because they are referred to as NFA (NO FUTURE AMBITION).
If you check your admission status and you are not admitted yet it means no admission for you this year. Don’t waste your time hoping your name will be out soon. All admission for 2016/2017 academic session ends on 30th November 2016 as mandated by JAMB and ministry of education. For this reason we decided to publish this information online for those of you calling our help desk for admission assistance. We were able to secure admission for more than 15,000 students seeking for admission into their various Universities and Polytechnics this year. We divided the aspirants into two groups (Group A and Group B). Group A is made up of GC (GENERAL CANDIDATES) while group B is made up of SC (SPECIAL CANDIDATES). We ensure that the Special candidates all secure admission into their various departments. Few of the general candidates secure admission into their departments while the rest were offered different courses in the same faculty. For God seek I am human and I need to rest. The only advice I give to all the aspirants who are yet to gain admission this year is to obtain IJMB form and start the program immediately. Instead of wasting another year at home applying for JAMB, why not look for something reasonable that will guaranty you admission? If you sit down at home hoping that applying for JAMB next year is the best thing to do you are only fooling yourself. Come to think of it, you participated in JAMB this year and after that you also participated in the admission screening and yet you were not admitted after all this stress. What assurance do you have that same thing will not happen next year? In case you don’t know, JAMB now last for two years which implies that we will have double the number of JAMB participants of this year next year. The struggle and survival for admission becomes times two of what you experience this year.
Research has also proven that 30% of aspirants that pass JAMB every year always score below JAMB cut off mark the following year. This implies that 30% of the aspirants that were not admitted this year will not pass JAMB let alone participating in next year admission screening. You may be part of this ratio of aspirants that will fall victim. When I explain this theory to most of you the next thing I hear you say is “I REJECT IT! GOD FORBID” and at the end of the day you fall victim and start disturbing me for assistance on how to register for IJMB when you are suppose to be moving to your final year. I call such scenario MEDECINE AFTER DEATH. For those that are wise they obtain the form and between 6 to 8 months they are through with IJMB and resume from 200 level without having to write JAMB again while the unwise ones are still struggling with JAMB. I am not kicking against JAMB, what I am saying is that you do the Wright thing at the wright time. Stop being foolish and act smart. If this is the first time you are hearing about IJMB then I guess you are the luckiest aspirant on planet earth. IJMB is the easiest and fastest way to gain admission into any university in Nigeria without JAMB. Most of the aspirants that were not admitted after Post-UTME last year were able to gain admission into 200 level this year after running the IJMB program. This same piece of advice was what I offer them and I am doing the same with you today, believing that you will not regret not embracing this life time opportunity. Let’s get down to all you need to know about IJMB!
WHAT IS IJMB?
That is a very important question. If you are not familiar with IJMB before now you have nothing to worry about. I will try as much as I can to be very explicit so you can comprehend what IJMB is all about. The full meaning of IJMB is Interim Joint Matriculation Board (I.J.M.B). I.J.M.B is a program moderated by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. IJMB is accepted in all the Universities in Nigeria. The primary objective of IJMB is to make it possible for students to gain direct admission into 200level without Joint Admission Matriculation Board (J.A.M.B) examination. I’ll not be wrong to say I.J.M.B is designed to ameliorate problems of admission for candidates seeking admission into Nigeria University instead of JAMB.

ARE WE WRITING ANY ENTRANCE EXAMINATION?
There is no entrance examination before admission. IJMB is not like JAMB that requires series of examinations before being considered for admission into any University of your choice. When you register with IJMB you are automatically a 1000 level student. The program last the period of 8 months after which you will be issued the certificate to study the course you apply for in your choice of University from 200 level. During this period you will be receiving lectures.
CAN I USE AWAITING RESULT?
Yes you can. IJMB accept awaiting result.
CAN I ALSO REGISTER CAUSE MY CHOICE OF INSTITUTION IS POLYTECHNIC?
IJMB is a platform that give you the privilege to study in any University of your choice. It does not require JAMB and also accepts awaiting results. IJMB gives you straight ticket to gain admission into University not polytechnic. So when you are doing your registration you chose any university of your choice and your most preferred course.
WHAT OF COURSES LIKE MEDICINE, NURSING AND LAW?
With IJMB you can study any course of your choice. All University courses are inclusive in IJMB admission. But make sure the course you chose is offered in your choice of institution. If you are aspiring to school in Unical for example and you choose the same course with your friend who wants to study Mechanical Engineering in Futo you are in trouble, because Futo offers Mechanical Engineering while Unical does not. Check the brochure of your school before choosing the course.

You resume 200 level between October and November 2017 when those that are applying for JAMB in 2017 are resuming 100 level. This is a step up for you. You don't have to go through year one again.

How much are we paying? Is it only the registration fee of 10k? What of accommodation and the likes?

@Esther Abayomi, The 10k is your registration fee. After registering you will have to pay for your hostel accommodation, text books and school fees. The breakdown of all what you are to pay is as follow;
Registration fee = 10k
Hostel Accommodation = 30k
Text books = 20k
School Fee =100k
Everything equal sum total of 160k
That is all you have to pay throughout the program. The 30k you pay for accommodation is just once till you finish the program.

What is the difference between IJMB and the part-time/evening program? which one is better sir cos i'm confused. Please ur reply

@Adams Musa, the difference between the evening or part-time program as they call it and IJMB is huge. The evening program is not a full-time program and is not generally accepted. It is not NYSC oriented. You will not go for NYSC service after completion of your program. while IJMB on the other hand give you the room to start your full time program from 200 level and graduate as a full-time student, giving you the privileged to go for NYSC (youth service) after your program. I will say IJMB is far more preferable to part-time program as the benefits are enormous. The importance of applying for IJMB cannot be over emphasized.

Pre-degree require JAMB and you will start from 100 level after Pre-degree program, while IJMB does not require JAMB and you start from 200 level with IJMB. IJMB is far better than pre-degree.
